Description: This mineral-based hydraulic fluid is designed for landing gear shock struts, meeting Boeing BMS 3-32C, Type II specifications. It features a shear stable viscosity index improver, anti-oxidants, anti-wear agents, and an EP additive to minimize martensitic streaking and galling in critical components. Available in a 5-gallon container. Overview: Castrol Aero 40 is fully qualified to Boeing BMS 3-32C, Type II. A high quality, mineral based MIL-H-5606 hydraulic fluid containing a highly shear stable viscosity index improver, an anti-oxidant, anti-wear agents and an approved EP additive which reduces martensitic streaking of landing gear outer cyclinders and galling of shock strut upper bearings.
