    This corrosion inhibiting compound offers protection for aerospace metals and alloys, forming a transparent, heat-resistant film. Suitable for high-temperature applications, it can be used on engine parts and areas exposed to hot exhaust gases, ensuring durability in environments with temperatures up to 150 degrees C, and short-term exposure up to 210 degrees C.

    Corrosion inhibiting compound for protection of all commonly used aerospace metals and alloys producing a colorless, heat-resistant, dry, firm film. Ardrox® AV 40 is designed for use in areas exposed to elevated temperatures. Typical areas of application are engine parts, pylons, cowlings and more, exposed to temperatures of up to 150 degrees C, with short term exposure of up to 210 degrees C. Being colorless Ardrox® AV 40 can be applied to the exterior of aircraft in areas where the skin is exposed to hot exhaust gasses, for e.g. around the APU exhaust outlet.
